I really liked today's songs. So far I haven't heard a single bad one by Foghat. And if you look at the cover to the album Rock & Roll you just have to love them.

And you go dancing through doorways just to see what you will find, leaving nothing to interfere with the crazy balance of your mind

Grandma's birthday was this week. She had made the best meringue dessert. Ebbott was happy to come along.

One of my favorite songs is Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits. I haven't listened to them that much, so today I thought I'd choose two more songs from the same album.

I dag har jag varit utan min telefon nästan hela dagen. Glömde den i mammas bil i går och trodde att jag hade tappat bort den helt. Som tur var låg den under sätet. De 22 timmarna vi var åtskilda fick mig att inse att jag tycker om den ändå, trots att den krånglar ibland.

Har inte haft något särskilt att göra i dag, men kände att jag var tvungen att sysselsätta mig med något som inte var städning. Därför har jag:

• Läst två år av den här serien.
• Tittat på män med fiskar.
• Ätit en muffin.
• Läst Femina.
• Och lyssnat på Edguys nya album.

I've been without my phone almost all day today. I left it in my mom's car yesterday and I thought I'd lost it. Luckily it was under the seat. Our 22 hours apart made me realize that I really do like my phone, even though it doesn't always work properly.

I haven't had anything special to do today, but I felt I had to do something that wasn't cleaning. That's why I:

Read two years of this comic.
Watched men with fish.
Ate a muffin.
Read a magazine.
And listened to Edguy's new album.

I really liked Space Police. Edguy always delivers. They're one of my favorites to see live as well.

Me and my bf are watching Extras, and the song that plays during the credits is really good. Today I finally found out which it is - Tea For The Tillerman by Cat Stevens. Unfortunately it's only one minute long, but it's still good.

Fler band som ska spela på Sweden Rock. På hemsidan kan man läsa att Crowbar var Halfords favoritband på 90-talet. Inte riktigt min grej. Det står också att Madam X är mytomspunna i Sverige. Jag hade aldrig hört talas om dem, så det var kanske på tiden att jag lyssnade.

For some reason I love taking pictures of snails.

Today's songs are from bands that will play on Sweden Rock Festival. According to them Crowbar was Halforgs favorite band during the 90's. It wasn't really my thing, though. On the webpage it also says that Madam X were very popular in Sweden. I'd never heard of them, so I guess it was about time I listened to them.

I går gick vi långrunda med hundarna i regnet, eftersom det inte verkade som att det nånsin skulle sluta. Det slutade en halvtimme senare och var fint hela kvällen. Tänkte att vädret skulle vara likadant i dag och väntade därför med långrundan till kvällen. Vädret 1 - Jag 1.

Yesterday we took a long walk with the dogs in the rain since it seemed like it would never stop. Half an hour later it stopped and the weather was nice all evening. I thought the weather might be similar today, and waited to take a long walk until late in the evening. Weather 1 - Me 1.

Min sambo vann en fågel på marknaden. Jag köpte churros och en meter kolasnöre. Inget av det var särskilt gott. Undrar om det är jag som börjar bli gammal eller om jag bara hade otur. Hoppas på det senare.

My bf won a bird at the fair. I bought churros and some candy. None of it was very good. I used to love it when I was younger. I wonder if I'm getting old or if I was just unlucky this time. I hope for the latter.

I thought I'd listen some more to the bands that play on Sweden Rock Festival this year. I feel that I probably should have started a little sooner. These are from Uriah Heep's first album. Good!

Jag tittade på Eurovison-finalen i går. Tyckte faktiskt att det ändå fanns några bra låtar, ibland finns det knappt någon. Jag röstade på Island, men det var ändå fint att Conchita vann. Världen känns som en lite bättre plats nu. Tyckte att de här tre var bäst:

Vill också ta med Frankrikes bidrag, eftersom två av medlemmarna var så lika Andy Samberg och Nick i New Girl (den långhåriga).

I watched the Eurovision final yesterday. I thought that there actually were some good songs this year, sometimes there's barely one. I voted for Iceland, but I still liked that Conchita won. The world feel's like a slightly better place now. My top three were Iceland, Armenia and Switzerland, but I also want to mention France, since two of the members looked so much like Andy Samberg and Nick from New Girl (the long haired one).

People always ask me why, what's the matter with me? Nothing matters when I'm with my baby

Jag läste också ut The fellowship of the ring. Senast jag läste den var jag femton, så det var på tiden. Tyckte bättre om boken den här gången, kanske för att jag läste den på engelska, kanske för att jag inte är femton längre. Då tyckte jag att den hade hemskt många beskrivningar av olika kullar mest hela tiden, nu älskade jag den. Förra gången tog den sex månader att läsa, den här gången en. Och nu läste jag ändå sakta, eftersom jag inte ville att den skulle ta slut.

Monthly recap for April.

There was a lot of Warren Zevon's songs this month.

I also finished  reading The Fellowship of the Ring. It was about time, since the last time I read it I was fifteen. I liked the novel better this time around, maybe because I read it in English, maybe because I'm not fifteen any more. Back then I thought it had way too many descriptions of different hills, but now I loved it. Last time it took me six months to finish it, this time one month. And that was with me reading it slowly on purpose this time, since I didn't want it to end.
